Drywall

Gypsum board, also known as plasterboard, is a common building material used to make partitions, ceilings, or floors. It is made of cement, gypsum, and fibers and has a lower fire risk and good soundproofing properties.

To install gypsum board, screws are typically used to secure it in place. Commonly used screws include flat head self-drilling screws. Self-drilling screws offer a lower fire risk and are stronger, making them suitable for securing gypsum board.

When using screws to secure gypsum board, it is usually necessary to use one screw every 20 cm and leave a minimum distance of 10 mm between each screw (hole). Additionally, when making partitions, it is recommended to use longer screws to ensure sufficient holding strength.
